Júlio Botelho (also Julinho Botelho , or just Julinho ; born July 29, 1929 in São Paulo , † January 10, 2003 ibid) was a Brazilian football player who took up the position of a winger.

Julinho moved to Fiorentina for the 1955/56 season . Here he played a total of three seasons. During his time in Florence he was considered one of the best wing runners of his time. With Miguel Ángel Montuori he formed one of the best striker duos at the time, and these two players played a key role in AC Fiorentina's first championship title. After three seasons, he returned to his native Brazil, where he joined Palmeiras São Paulo .

At the 1954 Julinho took part in the World Cup tournament in Switzerland. He scored once in the 5-0 preliminary round win against Mexico and once in the legendary Battle of Bern against Hungary, where Brazil lost 4-2 to the golden eleven and were eliminated from the tournament.

For the 1958 World Cup he was not taken into account, since preference was given to the ambitious Garrincha .
