Julius Bochmann (politician)

Julius Bochmann (born October 10, 1832 , † January 7, 1918 in Zschorlau ) was a German builder and conservative politician.

The son of the bricklayer Karl Friedrich Bochmann was like his father a master builder. From December 1861 to February 1872 he was a city ​​councilor for Aue , where he also owned an iron foundry . Then he was councilor and deputy mayor of his hometown until the end of 1902 . Between 1880 and 1901 he was a member of the Plauen Chamber of Commerce , serving as deputy chairman of this chamber from 1883 to 1892 and from 1895 to 1901. From 1895 to 1907 he was a member of the second chamber of the Saxon state parliament as a representative of the 20th urban constituency . In January 1902 he was made an honorary citizen by the city of Aue.
