Julius David Schlueter
Julius David Schlueter (born July 21, 1828 in Hamburg ; † November 5, 1900 there ) was a German businessman .
Life
Schlueter was the son of the Hamburg merchant Ferdinand David Schlueter (1792-1867) and his wife Laura, née Scheibler (1801-1875). The Mayor of Hamburg, David Schlueter (1758–1844), was his grandfather.
He worked as a businessman at Schlüter & Maack in Hamburg.
Schlüter was a member of the death shop deputation from 1857 to 1860. From 1862 to 1865 he was a member of the bank deputation (bank college) and sat for this in 1865 in the commission for weights and measures. From 1870 to 1872 he acted as a commercial judge and in 1873 and 1874 as chief judge. In 1848 and 1849 he was one of the directors of the "Direction of the Young People United for the Good of the Poor" and worked from 1860 to 1863 as a provisional and from 1881 to 1893 as the age of the inn.
Schlüter was a member of the Hamburg parliament from 1862 to 1865 .
Julius David Schlüter married Emma Kreglinger (* 1832) in Hamburg in 1854. They had a son and two daughters. The younger daughter Fanny (* 1864) had been married to the businessman and later Hamburg Senator Johannes August Lattmann since 1885 .
