Julius Haevecker

Julius Haevecker (born February 4, 1867 , † April 13, 1935 ) was a German pharmacist and local researcher .
Haevecker studied pharmacy at the University of Greifswald from 1891 to 1893 . In 1901 he acquired the Adler pharmacy in Lieberose , built in 1824 by the Royal Saxon High Military Pharmacist in Dresden, Gottlob Wilhelm Roedelius , which he ran until 1912.
The pharmacist worked intensively as a local researcher and wrote numerous publications, primarily on aspects of Lieberose's local history, such as the history of the Lieberose rifle guild and the seal and coat of arms of the city of Lieberose . Julius Haevecker is also the creator of Lieberose's coat of arms, which he designed based on old historical documents.
In 1911 the town of Lieberose granted him honorary citizenship for his local history .
