history

In 1865, Julius Hoesch, offspring of the Hoesch family of manufacturers , founded a chemical trade. As early as 1924, the company was the general agency for Farbwerke Hoechst and many other large companies.

1925 Advanced Hoesch operation to the divisions gasoline , oils , fats , etc. Since that time, Julius Hoesch shareholder of Deutsche Avia petroleum company . In 1931 the former paper mill Gebr. Stettner in Hoven was bought. There were two railway connections there. During the Second World War , 70% of the company's premises were destroyed. Reconstruction began in May 1945.
