Julius Hoffmann (District Administrator)

Julius Wilhelm Hoffmann (* 1806 in Brieg , Province of Silesia ; † September 8, 1866 in Opole ) was a German manor owner and administrative lawyer.

Life

Julius Hoffmann studied law at the University of Jena and the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg . In 1828 he became a member of the Corps Franconia Jena . In the same year he joined the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After graduating, he became the manor owner and district deputy in Slawitz near Opole . From 1844 until his death in 1866 he was the district administrator of the Opole district . He was also the state elder of his district. Hoffmann sat from 1849 until his resignation on December 15, 1850 for the first time for the constituency of Opole 1 in the Prussian House of Representatives and belonged to the center . From 1859 to 1861 in the Mathis parliamentary group (1860–1861) and from 1862 to 1863 in the constitutional parliamentary group , he represented the constituency Opole 1 again in the House of Representatives.
