Julius Neuberth

Ernst Julius Neuberth (born August 17, 1809 in Gahlenz , † 1881 in Friedrichroda ) was a German naturalist and magnetizer .

Life

Ernst Julius Neuberth was the son of a Gahlenz school teacher. He later worked as an authorized magnetizer in Dresden and Berlin, dealt with the therapeutic magnetic treatment through the laying on of hands and hypnosis and made these known with his publications on mesmerism and somnambulism . Neuberth was friends with the alternative practitioner Arthur Lutze , whom he accompanied on trips in the Berlin area and introduced him to healing magnetic treatment methods.

In Berlin he was a member of the vigilante group and the constitutional club .

On October 15, 1847 he was awarded the academic nickname I. Wolfart as a member (Matriculation no. 1584) in the Leopoldina added.
