Julius Weiffenbach

Julius Weiffenbach (born April 26, 1837 in Ziegenhain , † June 29, 1910 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer .

Until 1858 he studied law in Marburg ad Lahn and in Berlin . In 1865 he became a garrison auditor and in 1881 a full member of the Prussian general auditorium. In 1873 he wrote a commentary on the Military Criminal Code.

From 1886 to 1898 he taught international law, constitutional and military law at the Berlin War Academy . In 1899 he became head of the justice department in the War Ministry and honorary professor at the University of Berlin. In 1900 he was appointed Senate President at the Reich Military Court in Berlin.

Julius Weiffenbach was one of the authors of the draft of the military criminal court order of the German Reich.
