Jun Matsumoto
Jun Matsumoto ( Japanese 松本 潤 , Matsumoto Jun ; born August 30, 1983 in Toshima , Tokyo ), also called MatsuJun ( 松 潤 ), is a Japanese actor and singer . He is also a member of the well-known J-Pop group Arashi . Matsumoto has appeared in a number of Japanese films and television series.
Life
Childhood and family
Matsumoto was born in Toshima, Tokyo, the youngest child in the family. He has an older sister whose support from KinKi Kids influenced his decision to join Johnny & Associates in 1996. Believing it might bring good luck, he sent his application to the agency on the day of his elementary school graduation, receiving a call a few weeks later from President Johnny Kitagawa himself inviting him to a test instead of an audition.
Matsumoto graduated from Horikoshi Gakuen in 2002 , known for having many graduates in the performing arts such as Kyoko Fukada and Ai Kato .
