Jun Suzuki ( Japanese 鈴木 惇 , Suzuki Jun ; born April 22, 1989 in Fukuoka , Fukuoka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Jun Suzuki learned to play football in the youth teams of Minatozaka FC and Avispa Fukuoka . He signed his first professional contract in 2008 with his youth club Avispa Fukuoka. The club from Fukuoka , a city on Kyūshū , the southernmost of the Japanese main islands, played in the country's second division, the J2 League . In 2010 he was third in the J2 table with the club and rose to the first division. After only one year, he had to return to the second division at the end of 2011. After a total of 151 games for Fukuoka, he moved to league rivals Tokyo Verdy in 2013 . Here he signed a two-year contract. After the end of his contract, he returned to his former club Avispa Fukuoka in 2015. In 2015 he was again third in the table with the club and rose again to the top division. Also this time he had to relegate to the second division again after one season. The 2017 season he was loaned to the league competitor Ōita Trinita after Ōita . After 39 games for Ōita, he returned to Fukuoka in 2018.
