junges luck was a rock group from Hamburg .

It can best be compared to bands like Schrottlinie .

history

In 1999 Niclas Breslein and Christoph Kohler made their first steps in the style of punk rock . During this time they also met Gerne Poets, the manager of Tomte , who took them under his wing and gave them extensive contacts in the scene .

Two years later a drummer joined them and from that point on the band called themselves young luck . The band separated from their drummer and Christoph Kohler went abroad for a few months.

In 2003, two new band members joined with Alex Tsitsigias and LH Müller von Schrott Grenz . This constellation lasted a year, after which the two wanted to concentrate fully on the junk limit.

The two remaining members were more than happy to get to know Lars Watermann , who was now the drummer of 'junges luck'. The final line-up seemed to have been found, and the language was also decided: where English was previously sung, all the lyrics were now in German.

In spring 2005, their debut album was released here in a vacuum on the Indie - Label PAUL! . That year they were also support on Madsen's tour .

Before the recordings for the second record, bassist and founding member Christoph Kohler left the band to play with the band he was friends with, Schrott Grenz . The new bass player was Ingmar Rehberg, who also played in the band Janka .
The second album, which was recorded in Hamburg in December 2006, was released on April 13, 2007 on the Hamburg label Strange Ways.

At the end of August 2007, the band announced that they would cease their activities until further notice. The last concert took place on September 6, 2007 in the night asylum in Hamburg. The dissolution was officially announced at the beginning of October 2007.
