Juozas Raistenskis
Juozas (Josifas) Raistenskis (born January 1, 1953 in Stunžiškė , Wizebskaja Woblasz , Braslau Rajon , Belarusian SSR ) is a Lithuanian doctor and politician .
Life
After graduating from the Vidžiai Middle School in 1972 , he graduated from the Faculty of Medicinal Medicine at the Kauno medicinos institutas in 1976 and from 1977 worked as an internist at the Children's Hospital in Vilnius . In 1982 he received his doctorate in rheumatology . From 1982 to 1995 he was senior physician at the Vilnius University Hospital and lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1997 to 2000 he was a member of the Vilnius City Council, Deputy Mayor , from 2000 to 2004 a member of the Seimas .
