Attila Szalay

Attila Szalay (born April 9, 1961 in Budapest , Hungary ) is a Hungarian cameraman .

Life

Attila Szalay was born in Budapest , Hungary . His family emigrated to England in 1967 and later to Calgary , Canada . Szalay was already interested in camera work during his school days, so he studied film production and camera at Sheridan College in Ontario . He then became camera assistant at the National Film Board of Canada and from 1990 to 1996 by Laszlo George . Ever since Szalay made his cinematographic debut in 1996 with an episode of the Canadian television series Outer Limits , he has worked for films such as Quarantine , The Pillars of the Earth, and Zack & Cody, as well as isolated episodes of television series such as Smallville and Reaper Job as a cameraman.

Attila Szalay is married to the actress Tatiana Szalay .
