The Jurassic nunatak is a small nunatak in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 2.5 km northeast of the Triassic Nunatak in the group of the Yee Nunatakker .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1968. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1987 based on the name of the Triassic Nunatak after the Jurassic , a geological epoch.
