Yuri Sukhorukov
Jurij Oleksandrowytsch Suchorukow ( Ukrainian Юрій Олександрович Сухоруков , English transcription Yuriy Sukhorukov ; born March 29, 1968 in Donetsk ) is a Ukrainian sports shooter .
Jurij Suchorukow starts for Dynamo Donetsk. He joined in 2004 at the Summer Olympic Games in Athens on. There he was 24th with the air rifle , 26th in the three-position fight with the small-bore rifle and 32nd in the small-bore prone competition. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing Suchorukow reached the 36th place in the prone competition. The greatest international success was winning the silver medal in the three-position battle with 0.1 points behind Qiu Jian and ahead of Rajmond Debevec . He benefited from a miss by US American Matthew Emmons , who was in the lead , who dropped to fourth place.
