Jussiê Ferreira Vieira or just Jussiê (born September 19, 1983 in Nova Venécia ) is a former Brazilian soccer player . The midfielder was most recently under contract with Ligue 1 representative Girondins Bordeaux .

Career

Jussiês professional career began in January 2001 at the traditional Brazilian club Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte . There he played two seasons. In his sophomore year he won his first national title when the Campeonato Mineiro was won. Then he ventured abroad for the first time and was loaned to the Japanese club Kashiwa Reysol . However, he stayed there for only a year before moving back to Cruzeiro. During the winter break of the 2004/05 season he tried the second attempt to gain a foothold abroad, but this time opted for Europe and signed with the French first division club RC Lens . Lens transferred € 3.35 million to Cruzeiro for the transfer. Even before the league game started, Jussiê was successful with Lens in the UI Cup . After a year and a half in Lens, the offensive all-rounder was loaned to the league competitor in Bordeaux . On June 4, 2007, Bordeaux withdrew the option to purchase and finally committed him. In February 2017 he ended his professional career and became the operator of an export company for French wines. An attempt to play as an amateur at Stade Bordelais fails at the French Football Association (FFF) .
