Justin Shirley-Smith

Justin Shirley-Smith is an English music producer and sound engineer . He has been working for the rock band Queen since the late 1980s .

Shirley-Smith began working with Queen as a sound engineer on the recordings for their 1989 album The Miracle . He has been the band's co-producer since the album Made in Heaven , released six years later . It also plays a central role in the reworking of older recordings by Queen, for example the version of the album The Game , which was mixed in surround sound 5.1 and released in 2003 as DVD-Audio . Shirley-Smith co-produced albums with Brian May and Roger Taylor's band The Cross .
