The correctional facility Wriezen (abbreviated JVA Wriezen ) is a correctional facility of the state of Brandenburg in Wriezen . Juvenile and teenage offenders are housed in the prison.
Jurisdiction
In the JVA Wriezen juvenile and adolescent prisoners serve their prison sentence from six months to ten years in a closed prison . School-age prisoners on remand are still held here. It is the only correctional facility for juvenile prisoners in Brandenburg. There are also 30 places in open prison .

112 employees are currently employed in the Wriezen prison, 82 of them in the general prison service. Furthermore, three psychologists, three pedagogues and five social workers are available for the specialist care of the prisoners.
