Justus Garden Bridge

The Justus-Garten-Brücke spanned across the river connects the districts of Linden-Nord and Calenberger Neustadt

The Justus Garden Bridge in Hanover is one for pedestrians and cyclists over the Ihme tensioned bridge , near the confluence with the leash . The slim steel girder bridge has been connecting the Hanover city districts of Calenberger Neustadt and Linden-Nord since 1980 . It allows a river to be crossed in place of an earlier ferry service . It got its name from the “ Justus Garten ” restaurant located a few meters downstream in 1900 .
