Jutta Höhne

Judith Jutta Höhne (* 26. March 1951 in Gelsenkirchen as Judith Popken ) is a former German foil fencer , German champion and participant in the Olympic Games in Montreal in 1976 . She fought for SC Rei Koblenz, which was later renamed Königsbacher SC Koblenz .

In 1974 Höhne won the German championships in women's floret. In 1974 , 1976 and 1980 she was third.

In 1976 she took part with the foil team (in addition to Höhne, Karin Rutz-Gießelmann , Cornelia Hanisch , Ute Kircheis-Wessel and Brigitte Oertel ) at the Olympic Games in Montreal. The team missed a medal after losing to Hungary in the battle for third place and finished fourth. In 1979, Höhne was also part of the national team for the World Championships . Together with Hanisch, Kircheis-Wessel, Sabine Bischoff and Ingrid Losert , she took third place.

In 1979, Höhne was named Koblenz Sportswoman of the Year . She is married to the saber fencer Knut Höhne , who took part in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich .
