Knut Höhne

Knut Höhne (born November 19, 1949 in Lübeck ) is a former German saber fencer . He was two times German champion in saber singles and took part in the Olympic Games in Munich . He fought for SC Rei Koblenz, which was later renamed Königsbacher SC Koblenz .

Höhne won the German championships in saber singles in 1971 and 1973 . In 1972 he was runner-up and third in 1975 . At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich he took part in the saber singles and together with Walter Convents , Volker Duschner , Dieter Wellmann and Paul Wischeidt in the team competition. The team finished in seventh place, in the individual he was eliminated in the third of five rounds.

He is married to the foil fencer Jutta Höhne , who took part in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal and also won the German championship.
