Career

Jutta Röchling comes from two important German entrepreneurial families. Her father, Richard Röchling (1904–1986), was a partner in Röchling's industrial estate , her mother was born in Stinnes . Since her father was one of the patrons of the Mannheim hockey club , she was interested in field hockey from her youth and became a member of HC Mannheim. Since her achievements justified it, she was soon appointed first to the women's team of her club, and later to the German women's national team in field hockey. In the national team she played field hockey 13 times for Germany between 1961 and 1963. (Registered there under her later family name Greinert).

On March 3, 1962, Federal President Heinrich Lübke signed numerous current German national players in field hockey, including Jutta Röchling in addition to z. B. Hannelore Blumenberg , Greta Feurich and Bärbel Aichinger with the silver bay leaf .

Jutta Röchling married Klaus Greinert , who was also a field hockey player who was decorated with the silver bay leaf and whom she had met at HC Mannheim. Since both, like the whole Röchling family, had also made voluntary contributions to the Mannheimer HC, they were honored with the HC Mannheim's Life-Time Award in 2016.

Jutta Röchling has been a member of Duravit's supervisory board since 1988 . Her son Gregor Greinert was later chairman of the company's supervisory board.
