Jutta Schmitt-Lang (* 1982 in Blieskastel ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She was elected to the Saarland state parliament in the state elections in Saarland in 2017 .

Life

Jutta Schmitt-Lang attended the Von der Leyen grammar school in Blieskastel and became a grammar school teacher after graduating from high school . Until her election in 2017 she worked at the Gymnasium am Rotenbühl in Saarbrücken .

She was active in local politics for years, including deputy mayor of Blieskastel-Mitte since 2014 . In 2009 she was elected to the district council of the Saar-Palatinate district . She is also the press spokeswoman for the CDU Blieskastel. In the state elections in 2012 she was nominated as the top candidate of the Junge Union Saar , but could not get a seat. In the 2017 state elections, she was elected to the Saarland state parliament through the Neunkirchen district election proposal.

Private life

Jutta Schmitt-Lang is married and has two daughters.
