Juula (also: Chula , Tula , Jasiirada Chula ) is the largest island of Somalia with an area of ​​6.40 km². It belongs politically to Jubaland and geographically to the Bajuni Islands , a chain of coral islands ( barrier islands ), which extends from Kismaayo in the north over 100 kilometers to the Raas Kaambooni near the Kenyan border.

The island is off the coast, opposite the capes Raas Rasiine and Kiwabiis . In close proximity are the islets of Yondiyoond in the north and Ukahiiyo in the south. The island forms a bay of the same name to the southwest, to the mainland, with the port of Porto Ciula and the mouth of the Caannoole river . It is about 1.5 km from the coast. It is up to 2 km wide, quite irregular in shape with a wide southern part and a narrower and longer northern part, where the settlement of the same name is located, as well as many small bays. There is a second settlement Mudawa in the southern part. In terms of area, Koyaama (6.38 km²) is almost as large.
