Juuso Haarala (born September 22, 1996 ) is a Finnish cross-country skier .

Career

Haarala, who competes for IF Minken , ran in Vuokatti in December 2013 for the first time in the Cross-Country Scandinavian Cup . In February 2014 he became the Finnish junior champion in the mass start race over 20 km in Lahti . At the Junior World Championships 2016 in Rasnov , he achieved 29th place in the sprint. In the 2016/17 season he mainly took part in the Scandinavian Cup. His best result was 32nd place in the Madona sprint . After finishing fourth in the sprint at the FIS race in Muonio at the beginning of the 2017/18 season, he started the World Cup for the first time at the Ruka Triple in Ruka . He got his first World Cup points with 29th place in the sprint stage.
