Las Juventudes Comunistas de Chile (short: JJCC ; German: Kommunistische Jugend Chiles ) is the youth association of the Communist Party of Chile . It is also known as "La Jota". The organization was founded in 1932. Today JJCC has over 5000 members and a nationwide presence. A number of Chilean personalities were or are members of the JJCC: Pablo Neruda , Violeta Parra , Victor Jara , Sergio Ortega , Francisco Coloane , Volodia Teitelboim , Luis Corvalan , Gladys Marín , Karol Cariola and Camila Vallejo .
