Károly Eperjes
Károly Eperjes (born February 17, 1954 in Hegykõ , Hungary ) is a Hungarian actor .
Life
Originally, according to his parents' wishes, Károly Eperjes was supposed to become a priest. But he preferred to study acting at the Budapest Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetem . After graduating in 1980, he played in various theaters, including the National Theater . At the same time, he also gained a foothold in films. He made his debut in the 1982 crime drama Without Trace by Péter Fábry . He was then seen in films such as Colonel Redl , Hanussen and Good evening, Mr. Wallenberg . For his leading role in the 1989 drama Eldorádó , he was nominated for a European Film Award for Best Actor in the same year .
