The Kâmil Ocak Stadı (also Kâmil Ocak Stadyumu , German Kâmil-Ocak-Stadion ) is a football stadium in the Turkish city of Gaziantep . The Büyükşehir Gaziantepspor football club plays its home games here. Opened in 1974, the stadium can seat 16,981 spectators. The namesake Kâmil Ocak (1914–1969), former Turkish Minister of State for Sport from Gaziantep, was responsible for the construction of this sports facility and put this idea into practice. In recognition of this, the venue was named after him.
With the completion and opening of the Gaziantep Arena in mid-January 2017, Gaziantepspor moved to the new venue with around 35,000 seats.
