Käthe Huth

Käthe Huth , née Käthe Friese , ( August 27, 1871 in Vienna - after 1902) was a German child actress and stage actress .

Life

Huth, the daughter of the actor Carl Adolf Friese , played children's roles at various Viennese theaters from the age of five, in which, as with all Frieses, her talent was shown at an early stage. She was engaged in the Theater an der Wien , the Karltheater, the Berliner Centraltheater, worked at the New York Thaliatheater from 1890 to 1891 and then joined the Association of the City Theater in Leipzig.

She was a splendid comedy soubrette and possessed all the necessary qualities for this subject: humor, temperament, amiability, dexterity in play and movement and a talent for characterization. She especially liked roles in the Austrian dialect, which she spoke gracefully and gracefully, without being obtrusive. The piquant artist could look really funny and all of her characters showed good powers of observation.
