CologneLiteraturePrize
The KölnLiteraturPreis has been awarded irregularly since 1990 by the Friends of the KölnLiteraturPreis eV . Under the Articles of Association are to the award of the prize stadtkölnische writings and media productions or literature which, Cologne on the topic, has to be considered. These can be narrative texts ( novels , short stories ) or non-fiction books , song texts or plays, films or features in High German or Cologne. The laureate receives an owl marked with his name, the sign of wisdom and the writer. In addition, this is associated with prize money of initially 5,000 German marks, now 2,500 euros.
