Kötzschenbroda (district)
The district Kötzschenbroda is one of the districts of the Saxon city of Radebeul . It bears the Saxon district code 3063. In contrast to the other Radebeul districts, where the district also coincides with the respective district, the district Kötzschenbroda consists of Kötzschenbroda with Kötzschenbroda Oberort , in between Niederlößnitz and the Fürstenhain enclosed by Kötzschenbroda .
From a historical point of view, the corridor of this district corresponds roughly to the state before 1839, before the Niederlößnitz vineyard corridor was removed from the Kötzschenbroda area and the Oberort arose. This temporal situation has to be corrected by the fact that the previously independent Fürstenhain was too small for its own municipal administration as a result of the municipal reform of 1838 and was therefore administered as a partially independent municipality from Kötzschenbroda.
