Kühbach is located northwest of Rotthalmünster on the 2110 state road between Pattenham and Hubreith .
history
Under Bavarian Duke Hugbert , a nunnery was founded in a place called Chirihpah . A traditional note from the Hochstift Passau provides information about the founding process. This oldest aristocratic monastery in Bavaria , which was presumably located on the site of today's Kühbach (approx. 3 km from Rotthalmünster), was probably destroyed in the first half of the 10th century as a result of the Hungarian storms .
