The building complex Kühlenhof 3 consists of a gatehouse with flanking residential buildings with different levels of ridge height. To the north and east, there are two structures that were formerly used as a barn or coach house . The inner courtyard, accessible through the gatehouse, is bordered to the east by the former coach house, which is attached directly to the older, northern one of the aforementioned barns.

The structures show different heights and facade designs towards the street . The residential building to the north of the gateway - possibly the former caretaker's house, which is directly connected to the large barn accessed through a gateway in the street-side gable , the gatehouse and the coach house that closes the inner courtyard to the east are built from bricks. Brick pilaster strips, frames and cornices divide the z. Partly plastered facades. Window openings in the barn were partially closed afterwards.

To the south of the gatehouse there is a low two-storey structure , only about four meters deep , which has recently been modernized using the simplest of means. A single-storey building connects it to a formerly designed brick barn with a very simple design. Attached to this is a transformer tower that supplies the courtyard with energy. These three structures are not listed.

he older barn and the coach house have access through several double-leaf gates. Its undivided interiors are covered by mighty trusses . The roof surfaces are covered with different clay tile models. The gatehouse and the eastern house, on the other hand, have a new concrete roofing.
