Pumpkin seed. Literature and Criticism was a quarterly journal on cultural policy that was published from September 1965 to 1987.

Founded pumpkin seed 1965 by Hannes support , Yaak Karsunke , Christian Geissler , Manfred Vosz and Friedrich superheater , which acted as joint editor. Geissler and Karsunke left the editorial office in 1968, respectively were fired by Stütz. For this Oskar Neumann took over the co- editing in 1970.

In addition, the pumpkin seed series Small Workers' Library was published .
