Kęstutis Povilas Paukštys

Kęstutis Povilas Paukštys (born January 1, 1940 in Kaunas ; † December 21, 2013 ) was a Lithuanian politician.

Life

In 1954 he completed 7 classes at the 9th secondary school in Kaunas and after his father's death he worked as a worker from 1955. From 1963 to 1992 he worked as a locksmith at the Kauno avalynės fabrikas factory (AB “Lituanica”). From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas and from 1997 to 2000 a member of the Kaunas City Council. From 1993 he was a member of Tėvynės sąjunga .

He was married. With Mrs. Bronė he had the daughter Loreta and the sons Rodrigas and Mindaugas.

His grave is in the Eiguliai cemetery .
