Kestutis Skrebys

Kęstutis Skrebys (born June 14, 1965 in Panevėžys ) is a Lithuanian politician, former minister and member of the Seimas and sports official.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1983 at Panevėžys 4th Middle School, he studied from 1983 to 1985 at the Physics Faculty of Vilnius University . In 1990 he graduated with honors from the Technical University in Kaunas , from 1998 to 2002 the bachelor's degree in law and in 2004 the master's degree in law at the Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius .

From 1985 to 1991 he was a laboratory technician, senior laboratory technician and assistant at the Panevėžys Faculty of the Kaunas Polytechnic Institute . From 2001 to 2005 he was director of UAB "Eurocom" (subsidiary of Vilniaus prekyba ). From 2006 he worked as a legal assistant in a law firm. From 1992 to 1996 and from 1996 to 2000 he was a member of the Seimas , and from 1996 to 1999 Minister for Administrative Reforms and Local Affairs.

From 1998 to 1999 he was President of the Chess Federation of Lithuania ( Lietuvos šachmatų federacija ).
