Kęstutis Smirnovas

Kęstutis Smirnovas (* 1976 in Šakiai ) is a Lithuanian liberal politician and martial arts athlete.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1991 at the 1st Šakiai Middle School, Kęstutis Smirnovas graduated from the Kudirkos Naumiestis Agricultural School in 1994 , the School of NCOs of the State Guards in 1996, the Medininkai Border Guard School in 1999 , and in 2002 he studied physical education at the Lietuvos kūno kultūros akademija das in Kaunas and in 2008 Master's degree in educational organization and educology at Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas .

From 1997 to 1999 he worked as a border guard - policeman in Pagėgiai and Šakiai of State Border Protection office at the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania . In 1999 he taught at the Šakiai sports school and from 2003 as a sports coach.

From 2002 he was a member of Lietuvos liberalų sąjunga , from 2003 Liberalų ir centro sąjunga . From 2007 to 2015 he was a member of the council of the Šakiai district community . He has been a member of the Seimas since 2016 . He prevailed against Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius .

In 1998 and 1999 he was a Lithuanian master in Jiu Jitsu .
