Kōichi Kidera ( Japanese 木 寺 浩 一 Kidera Kōichi ; born April 4, 1972 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kidera learned to play soccer on the school team at Bunan High School . He signed his first contract with NKK SC in 1991 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League Division 1. At the end of the 1990/91 season, the club was relegated to Division 2. For the club he completed 27 games. In 1994 he moved to league rivals Kyoto Purple Sanga . He then played for the Honda Luminozo Sayama FC (1996-1997). In 1998 he moved to the second division Albirex Niigata . In 2003 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 71 games. In 2006 he moved to league rivals Sanfrecce Hiroshima . At the end of the 2007 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 23 games. He then played with the Kanazawa Branches (2009). At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
