Theresenhof is a residential area in the Groß Machnow district of the non-governmental municipality Rangsdorf in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg .

Geographical location

Theresenhof is located northeast of the community center. To the south lies the Großmachnower Weinberg nature reserve , and to the southeast the town of Mittenwalde . To the north lies Klein Kienitz , another district of Rangsdorf, northeast of Boddinsfelde , part of the Mittenwald district of Brusendorf and to the east of Pittchenmühle , a residential area of ​​Mittenwalde.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1841 as Theresienhof in an official journal of the Potsdam government. It was a Vorwerk of the Groß Machnow estate, which had been built by the landowner Behrend. In 1858 58 people lived there. In 1860 it consisted of three residential and seven farm buildings. In 1925 the number of inhabitants had decreased to 41 people. In 1928 Theresenhof was incorporated into the municipality of Großmachnow and was living there in 1932 and 1957.

In 2020, an industrial park in Groß Machnow is named after the residential area.
