Kōji Miya
Kōji Miya ( Japanese 宮 康 ニ , Miya Kōji ; born May 25, 1965 in Yamanashi Prefecture ) is a former badminton player from Japan .
Career
Kōji Miya started at the 1992 Summer Olympics in men's doubles with Fumihiko Machida . There, however, was the last stop in round one, when they lost to Andy Goode and Chris Hunt with 10:15, 15: 9 and 12:15. At the Asian Games in 1990 he was with Kazue Kanai in the quarter-finals of the mixed doubles, at the Chinese Taipei Open 1991 in the second round of the men's doubles. In 1990 he also reached the quarter-finals of the Japan Open in doubles and thus the best placement at this event, where he started annually until 1999.
At the 1991 World Cup , he was eliminated in round three in men's doubles. In 1993 he made it into the third round in both doubles and mixed games.
