Kōta Mizunuma ( Japanese 水 沼 宏 太 , Mizunuma Kōta ; born February 22, 1990 in Yokohama , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

society

Kōta Mizunuma learned to play football in the youth team of the Yokohama F. Marinos . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2008. The club from Yokohama , a city in Kanagawa Prefecture , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . From July 2010 to January 2012 he was loaned to Tochigi SC . With the club from Utsunomiya he played 50 times in the second division, the J2 League . Immediately afterwards he was loaned to the first division promoted Sagan Tosu to Tosu . After the loan ended, he was signed by the first division club in early 2013. In 2016, the league rival FC Tokyo signed him. The first team played in the first division, the U23 team played in the third division, the J3 League . In 2016 he was used nine times in the U23. In 2017 he played on loan at first division club Cerezo Osaka in Osaka . Here he stood with the club in the final of the J. League Cup and the Emperor's Cup . In the final of the J. League Cup they won 2-0 against Kawasaki Frontale , in the final of the Emperor's Cup they won 2-1 against Yokohama F. Marinos. After the loan, he was firmly signed by Osaka. In 2018 he won the Supercup with Osaka . Here they defeated the Japanese champions Kawasaki Frontale 3-2. His former club Yokohama F. Marinos took him back under contract in early 2020.
