KD Wentworth
Kathy Diane Wentworth (born January 27, 1951 in Tulsa , Oklahoma , † April 18, 2012 ) known as KD Wentworth , was an American science fiction writer. At the beginning of her writing career, she won the " Writers of the Future Contest" award in 1988, which is a registered trademark of Scientology . Most recently she was the editor of the Writers of the Future Contest . Two of her short stories, Tall One and Burning Bright , made it to the finals of the Nebula Award .
