The steam locomotive kkStB FB 2 was a narrow gauge - tank locomotive of the imperial army railways of Austria . The trial run with this machine was so successful that it was renamed 1.01 in 1904 and another five identical vehicles were added as 1.02-06 .

The six of these small quadruple coupled locomotives with 700 mm gauge were manufactured by the StEG locomotive factory and the Budapest machine factory in 1902 and 1904. They were used by the kuk field railways during the First World War . After November 1918 their traces are lost.
