KEM Konstruktions is a German-language trade journal for designers and development engineers in product development in the fields of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering .
The magazine first appeared in 1964 by Konradin-Verlag . The three letters originally stood for construction, elements, methods . Today the title is just KEM construction .
The publication appears ten times a year, supplemented by special editions on topics such as automobile construction or mobile machines. The six main topics are drive technology , machine elements , automation , fluid technology , materials and processes, and digitization .
