history

The company was founded on December 12, 2001 with a new entry in the commercial register as MFC Industrial Holdings AG with its registered office in Cologne. Previously, the operational business of the former Westfalia Dinnendahl Gröppel AG (WEDAG) and the former Maschinenbauanstalt Humboldt , which under today's Deutz AG as Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz (KHD) , were brought into the stock exchange shell of the Maschinenfabrik Fahr ( FAHR Beteiligungen AG ) were merged. Operationally, the business with the construction of cement plants made losses mainly up to the turn of the millennium and KHD made headlines due to balance sheet fraud. In November 2006 the name was changed to KHD Humboldt Wedag International (Deutschland) AG and in March 2010 to KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG.

Holdings

The subsidiary , also listed , KHD Humboldt Wedag Vermögensverwaltungs-AG (KHD VV, ISIN DE000A1X3WW8; formerly: KHD Humboldt Wedag Industrial Services AG ) has not performed any operational administrative tasks for KHD since May 2017. Since then, it has concentrated solely on managing its own assets and is managed by the board of the parent company. The company paid out all of its cash and cash equivalents as dividends in April 2019 . The distribution of 23 euros per share corresponded to a dividend yield of 92%. Since then, the KHD VV has been an empty shell .
