The KK-dalen is an icy valley of the Heimefrontfjella in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It lies between the Sivorgfjella and the XU-Fjella .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1967 after the acronym for the coordinasjonskomiteen ( Norwegian for coordination committee ), which played a key role in the fight against the German occupation of Norway in World War II .
