KUSU-FM is the radio station for Utah Public Radio . The US station broadcasts from Logan , Utah . Kusu FM broadcasts on FM 91.5 M Hz with 50 k W . It is one of the most powerful stations in Utah and can be heard as far as Idaho .

history

The KVSC station was the predecessor of KUSU-FM. It began operating in 1953 with the Utah Public Radio program as the Voice of the State College . In 1961 she changed the callsign to today's KUSU-FM to reflect the transition from Utah State Agricultural College to today's Utah State University . Utah Public Radio is Utah's oldest non-commercial educational station.
