Lending Tree Bowl
The LendingTree Bowl (formerly the Mobile Alabama Bowl , GMAC Bowl , GoDaddy Bowl , GoDaddy.com Bowl, and Dollar General Bowl ) is an annual game in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) college . It will be played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile , Alabama . One team each from the Sun Belt Conference and the Mid-American Conference are involved .
history
The post-season game was founded in 1999 as the Mobile Alabama Bowl . In 2001 GMAC took over the naming rights, after which the game was called the GMAC Bowl for ten years , before GoDaddy acquired the rights in 2011 . On August 17, 2016 it was announced that Dollar General had acquired the naming rights and the game was renamed the Dollar General Bowl .
