Kagami Daira ( Japanese 鏡 平 'mirror surface' ) is a glacier field made of bare ice in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It is in the center of the Belgica Mountains .
Japanese scientists took aerial photographs in 1976 and took surveys between 1979 and 1980. You named it descriptively in 1981.
