Kai Althoff

Kai Althoff (* 1966 in Cologne ) is a German painter , installation and video artist , photographer and musician .

Life and career

Althoff's work includes artistic activities such as painting, drawing, sculpture, writing, installation, performance, theater, music and film.

From the mid-1990s, Althoff presented his works in various group and solo exhibitions, initially in Germany, later also in Switzerland, the United States and Canada.

In addition to his artistic activity, Althoff is also active as a musician. In addition to solo albums under artist names such as Fanal or Ashley’s , he released together with Justus Köhncke as Subtle Tease and with Christoph Rath, Stefan Mohr and Stephan Abry as a workshop .

Althoff lived and worked in his hometown of Cologne for a long time before moving to New York City .
